La Via dell'Incenso is a workshop that produces and sells natural incense.
Our story began in the 1990's with the need to use natural, high quality products for meditation. At that time it was very difficult and expensive to obtain certain types of resins, and in order to find them we began to create a network of contacts both in Italy and abroad. It was also necessary to create a buying group in order to be able to buy larger quantities of products and to cope with shipping costs, which were very high at that time. Over the years, what was initially a sporadic activity became more structured and continuous, until in 2008 it began to take shape in a more concrete way, thanks to the help and collaboration of a friend who had an herbalist shop. Thanks to this collaboration, we were able to expand our catalog and make it available to the public, with a dedicated website that offered the possibility of purchasing resins that were almost unobtainable in Italy until then.
It was in 2014 that La Via dell'Incenso was officially born as an independent company entirely dedicated to incense and this world.
Today, with a revamped site and still a lot to do, we propose ourselves to the public as a point of reference for natural incense in Italy.
Our suppliers are rigorously selected and the quality of all the products you find on our site is always guaranteed. Periodically we go to select the best incense in Nepal and Tibet, where we have a network of qualified suppliers and where you can find exclusive products. Thanks to our experience in the field, we select the best resins from all over the world, always prioritizing quality over quantity.
In addition to basic incense, we also make compound incense, using ancient traditional recipes that we personally verify and test.
Our workshop is located in Tuscany, near Florence, in the hills of Sesto Fiorentino.
