Type: Basic incense - Wood
Plant: Bursera graveolens
Origin: Central-South America
Aroma: Sweet
History and traditions: With its sweet and intense aroma, Palo Santo (also Palosanto) has been used since ancient times by the Incas for spiritual purification, to cleanse negative energies, for meditation and to rebalance energies.
Information: Tropical tree, now protected, whose name means "holy wood" that grows spontaneously in Central and South America. The 50g pack contains 5 sticks (the number could vary based on the weight of each stick, however between 4 and 6 pieces). It is possible to burn the wood directly without the aid of charcoal; to do so it is necessary to set fire to one end of the stick (usually no longer than 10-15 cm). If the wood needs to be extinguished and then used at another time, it is important to clean it of any charred residues.
