Refined pine resin is filtered of impurities normally present in raw resin. Burned as incense it has a less dry and less pungent aroma than the raw resin, yet retains the balsamic characteristic.
History and traditions: pine resin has been used as incense since ancient times by shamans, druids and priests both to purify gloomy or energy-deprived environments and to restore energy and revitalize. Even a small amount of this substance was considered capable of bringing us closer to nature thanks to its penetrating and balsamic scent.
Information: the refined pine resin is filtered of the impurities normally present in the raw resin. We use a natural refining method, by boiling and filtering which does not alter its chemical properties. The result is an amber-colored resin, with a balsamic and less pungent scent than the raw one, in appearance reminiscent of melted caramel.
