Pine resin is harvested in Italy (Tuscany) and has a dry, fresh, pungent aroma typical of pine forests. Burned as incense it gives off a balsamic and energizing fragrance.
History and traditions: pine resin has been used as incense since ancient times by shamans, druids and priests both to purify gloomy or energy-deprived environments, and to restore energy. Even a small amount of this substance was considered capable of bringing us closer to nature thanks to its penetrating and balsamic scent.
Information: the raw resin does not undergo any kind of processing, but is only screened by removing the most obvious impurities (barks and residues). It has small impurities and inhomogeneities.
