Typology: Basic incense - Resin
Plant: Daniellia Oliveri
Origin: Burkina Fasu
Aroma: Sweet and spicy. Notes of cinnamon and cloves, with pungent nuances typical of Boswellia resin.
History and traditions: This resin, used by some local tribes of Burkina Fasu as incense, was collected and imported by us for the first time in 2017. Its wood, on the other hand, is widely used for various uses including carpentry, interior cladding, furniture, boat building, toys, cattle troughs, drums, bowls, rice mortars, packing crates, and even as firewood.
Information: With an agreement with some villages in Burkina Fasu, we have financed the collection of resin and its import, in order to be able to offer a completely new product and at the same time help the local populations.
