Royal Hojari (Boswellia Sacra) 1st Grade

Sacred Boswellia resin harvested in the Dhofar region of southern Oman is the most prized of Boswellia resins. Traditionally it should be harvested only from young plants and only from incisions made in the upper part of the plant. The resin is then manually screened and the grains selected. It has a characteristic straw yellow color with green reflections (freshly picked) which disappear as it oxidises. The smell is very fresh, with notes of citrus and almost pungent, it tends to be very persistent and leaves a good scent for a long time.

The uses of Boswellia resin are the usual ones, both the purifying and relaxing effects are increased thanks to the strong scent it releases.
